The Hanson family farm is a small family-owned/operated farm located in historical Tribes Hill region, that has been in existence for over 5 generations.
The farm utilizes permaculture and regenerative agricultural practices whenever possible, and is always adding these principals to our farm as we learn more and whenever possible. Our fruits and vegetables are grown the OLD FASHIONED WAY - without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or other artificial chemicals. We continue to add practices to our farm to further grow our agricultural philosophy which is based on the growth of a nutrient-rich grass on which the animals can thrive in a symbiotic food cycle without chemical products.
Our personal beliefs include SEASONAL and LOCAL farming and eating. We produce what we can for this style of living, or will purchase locally if we do not or can not produce it ourselves.
The farm currently offers the following items at this time:
Hanson blueberries are some of the sweetest, juiciest berries you will ever eat. We have multiple varieties available, giving us a growing season that will last throughout most of the summer season!
Handmade Soaps are available on a pre-order basis. This means that you place your personalized order, and your soap will be made specifically for you.
COMING SOON: Hand Milled Slab and Board Planks cut to order from hand chosen logs. Speak to Tim for details.

The pastured eggs that we sell are unwashed, which means that the bloom is still intact and you can store them on your counter or in your refrigerator.
Before a hen lays an egg, her body creates a protective layer called the "bloom" over the shell. The bloom protects the egg from any bacteria getting inside by sealing the 6,000-8,000 shell pores. Once washed, the bloom is removed which leaves the potential of bacteria entering into the shell. gently wash or wipe the egg before cracking it open.
Farm fresh eggs from our pasture raised chickens, scrambled raw, and freeze dried for convenience! Shelf-stable!
Once reconstituted, they are exactly the same as a fresh raw scrambled egg that you just cracked. Long-term storage up to 25 years in the mylar packaging provided. The contents of the bag can be transferred into a packed quart size canning jar, and depending on your climate, shelf life would be up to a year.
